Logo Story:

The logo is based on a traditional Celtic green man because the green man is known as a spirit and symbol of all forests. He is Nature.

- The face is an actual representation of my face; my nose, eyes, chin, stubble

- The leaves, acorns and twigs represent the mighty Oak

- My primary spirit animal guide is the fox represented by the tail coiled along my neck

- Two of my spirit animal guides are the tree frog (on right) and the goldfinch (on left)

- The "horns" are the fruit of the staghorn sumac tree, a native tree to PA and important to much wildlife.

- The blue object on my forehead is a Lapis Lazuli stone. Which holds important symbolism to me, but also a universal symbol of wisdom and truth

- And tucked into my "crown" is the very tip of the Awen symbol and connects me deeply with my Celtic/Welsh heritage. The three rays represent our journey with the Earth, Sea, and Sky.

ChuckWalks Story:

ChuckWalks is a wellness service that manifested from the life experiences of its leading guide and founder Chuck Thomas.

ChuckWalks was personally crafted by Chuck and is based on the training and teachings provided by the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership (KSMOL). Graduates of KSMOL are recognized as certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guides (KMOG) and guide folks on nature-based Mindful Outdoor Experiences (MOE).

Chuck is on his own personal journey to connect more deeply with the outdoors through the exploration of senses, feelings and energy. His efforts are dedicated toward sharing his experiences through ChuckWalks with those who are interested in disconnecting from technology and finding their inner selves by engaging with Nature.

What guides his spirit at the core is helping people. What really gets his mind present, body flowing, and senses piqued, is when he engages in wellness work through ChuckWalks. This way he can help others in a deeply connected way by engaging with them and all their senses in the Outdoors while witnessing them find or strengthen their own connections to the more-than-human world.
